Mike graduated from the University of Montana, School of Law in 2012, where he earned an outstanding student award for his work in the Land Use Clinic. After law school, Mike practiced law in Missoula for approximately ten years prior to joining Garlington, Lohn, and Robinson. Mike’s practice comprises both litigation and transactional work. Mike has experience advising clients prospectively on issues such as estate planning, land use, and contract drafting and review. Mike also has a diverse experience in litigation matters including full jury and bench trials, to verdict and appellate briefing. Mike is admitted to practice in Montana and Idaho State Courts, the United States District Court for the Districts of Montana and Idaho, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
After graduating from college with a double major in Political Science and History, Mike spent time in China traveling, learning Mandarin, and teaching English. In his personal time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, an elementary school teacher, and his two children. Mike also enjoys camping, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, and traveling.
