Luc’s practice focuses primarily in the area of insurance law, insurance coverage defense, and bad faith defense. He also regularly handles insurance defense cases, representing individuals and companies in the areas of personal injury, professional negligence, and construction defects. Luc has successfully represented clients in Montana’s state and federal courts, including before the Montana Supreme Court and United States for of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Luc attended law school at the University of Montana. While in law school, Luc worked as a legal intern at Garlington, Lohn & Robinson and served on the Montana Law Review as a staff writer and Articles Editor. After graduating with honors, Luc clerked with the Honorable Judge Sam E. Haddon in the United States District Court for the District of Montana. When his clerkship concluded, Luc joined Garlington, Lohn & Robinson as an attorney.
Luc is admitted to practice in Montana state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Montana, and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit. Luc is a member of American Bar Association and the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association.
Outside of work, Luc enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cooking, playing soccer, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and camping.
