Overview
Jason was born and raised in Missoula and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana. He earned his law degree from Santa Clara University, where he served as an editor of the Santa Clara Law Review. He is admitted to practice law in California and Montana.
After law school, Jason returned home to Missoula and spent nearly a decade in private practice advising clients on estate planning and probate matters, while also representing clients in a wide range of complex family law matters.
Jason earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 2026. While attending Georgetown Law, he worked in the Washington, D.C., office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where he gained experience in sophisticated federal tax and regulatory matters.
Outside the office, Jason enjoys exploring Montana, fishing, skiing, and spending time with his wife and two dogs, Wally and Kate.
