Holly was born and raised in Livingston, Montana. She attended the University of Montana and graduated with degrees in Political Science and Spanish. After undergraduate school Holly worked for and environmental non-profit in Montana for a few years before returning to the University of Montana to earn a Master of Science in Environmental Studies alongside her J.D.
As a law student, she fostered a passion for public interest law while she interned with Montana Trout Unlimited and Cottonwood Environmental Law Center. She also served as an editor of the Public Lands and Resources Law Review.
While she’s not working, Holly enjoys time in the mountains and on Missoula’s rivers with her husband and dogs.
