William Evan Jones
Raised on a Montana cattle ranch, Bill learned the culture of rural Montana which has stood him in good stead for Montana jury trial work. Many trials take place in rural areas.
He has tried voir dire through verdict some 130 civil cases and has taken part in several thousand additional litigated matters.
He developed his communications and persuasion skills through writing as a University of Montana student newspaper editor, Newsweek writer in New York City and 29th USAF Air Division information officer. He graduated from the Montana law school in June, 1959 and started work the next month at Garlington, Lohn & Robinson, Missoula. He has worked there ever since. His litigation skills are used primarily in product liability, major negligence and insurance bad faith cases. Because of his experience in trying civil jury cases he has contacts throughout the United States.
